SERVICES: 10:00 AM Monday, July 9, 2007, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rick Pearson, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. White was born October 22, 1926 in Mangum, Oklahoma. He moved to Pampa at a young age and attended Pampa schools. He married Vivian Gray on May 6, 1949 in Pampa. He worked for the U. S. Postal Service, retiring after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church where he was a former deacon, a Sunday School teacher, and R.A. leader. He was a boxing coach and an honorary lifetime member with the Pampa Optimist Club. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving as a corpsman during World War II. He loved to fish, golf and garden. He loved the Lord and his family.SURVIVORS: Wife: Vivian White of the home. 2 Daughters: Jane Bjork & husband Don of Amarillo, and Brenda Kelley & husband Buster of Pampa. 1 Son: Jim White & wife Carol of Amarillo. 3 Sisters: Patsy Gates & husband Eddie of Borger, Kitty Arnold of Fort Worth and Oleta Williams & husband Herschel of Midland. 2 Brothers: Wayne White & wife Winnie of Abilene and Otis White & wife Betty of Pampa. 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Pampa Optimist Youth Club, P.O.
