SERVICES: Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Cargile was born April 27, 1911 in Ryan, Oklahoma. She married Guy Cargile on November 22, 1927 and moved to Pampa in 1928 and she called Pampa home the rest of her life. Mr. Cargile preceded her in death on June 16, 1966. After his death she cared for others' children as well as caring for her own home. She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she worked for a time in the nursery and in Vacation Bible School.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Pat Porter and husband Roy of Pampa; 3 grandchildren Cheryl Porter of Pampa, Mark Porter and wife DeAnna of Ft. Worth, and Cheray Wolken of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; 4 great grandchildren: Leanne Dyson Hall of Pampa, Chad Porter of Ft. Worth, Jessica Wolken and Michaela Wolken both of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; 2 great great grand children: Brayden and Faith both of Pampa.MEMORIALS: Favorite Charity.
