SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 30, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Miami, with Rev. Dale Dunn, a Baptist minister from Amarillo, and Rev. Dennis Williams, minister of the First Baptist Church of Miami, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Moynihan was born Nov. 8, 1956 in Houston, Missouri. He graduated from Casper High School in Casper, Wyoming and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol there. He moved to Miami in 1976 where he became part owner of Granny's Place Cafe. Much of his time was dedicated to serving the community that he loved. He was one of the founders of the Miami Volunteer EMS, and he volunteered as an EMT instructor for many years. He was a member of the Miami Volunteer Fire Department and the First Baptist Church of Miami. He was blessed with a beautiful voice and often sang specials at church. He also enjoyed singing in the Frontier Follies every year at the Miami Cow Calling festivities. Henry moved to San Antonio in 2004 to pursue his career as an EMT but returned to Miami this spring to be closer to family.SURVIVORS: His mother: Evelyn Huff of Miami; 4 brothers: Bert Huff, Jr. and wife Caroline and Jimmy Huff and wife Alta, all of Licking, MO; Joe Huff and Danny Huff and wife Alice, all of Miami; 3 sisters: Ellen Duncan and husband Alan of The Colony, TX, Connie Huff of Miami, and Mary Riley and husband Steven of Amarillo; 18 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry W. and Frances "Granny" Moynihan, by his stepfather, Bert Huff, Sr., and by a brother, Wayne Huff.
