SERVICES: Private graveside services will be held under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Ables was born October 26, 1917 in Weleetka, Oklahoma. She married Lonnie Ables on July 18, 1941 in Altus, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1970. She was a former Pampa area resident, moving to Lubbock in 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Larry Ables & wife Karen of Lubbock. 3 Grandsons: Steven Ables of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Michael Ables and Justin Ables, both of Lubbock. 6 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jess Akin and Lee Akin, and 2 sisters, Bessie Nipper and Mary Hatfield.
