Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Fields was born on March 18, 1971 in Pampa where he was a lifelong resident until moving to Abilene five months ago. He was a 1989 graduate of Pampa High School and attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls and Ranger Junior College in Kilgore. He was a member of St. Mark's CME Church.SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Damesha Hair of Lawton, OK; his mother: Ethel Kaye Simmons of Pampa; his father: Arthur Fields of Pampa; 7 sisters: Demetra Shankle and husband Michael of Baytown, Dena Simmons of Abilene, Delorse James and husband Tony of Odessa, Dionne Blackmon and husband Willie of Mangum, OK, Diana Williams and husband Farley of Jacksonville, FL, Delecia Cash and husband Devin of Houston, and Delencia Fields of Amarillo; 1 brother: Timothy Fields of Pampa; his uncle: Herman D. Watie and wife Loretta of Houston; an aunt: Eula Bradshaw of Pampa; his best friend, Tad Thompson of Abilene; and by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
