Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Sullivan was born May 10, 1910 at his Granddad Whitlow's farm in Gray County, to Dora & Millard Sullivan. He lived all his boyhood years in Miami and Mobeetie. His dad owned a barber shop in Miami and Paul worked to help his dad by shining shoes. As a young man, he traveled and lived in many states. On Christmas Day in 1929, he returned to Miami and resided there the rest of his life. He married Pauline Cantrell of Miami in 1930. She preceded him in death in 1977. He was a mechanic at the Dale Low Chevrolet in Miami. He was always noted for his good, honest hard work, and his helping of others with car troubles on all off-hours, never charging for those services. He was given many distinguished service awards by Chevrolet, and for best Service Station Attendant. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He loved to garden and raised wonderful vegetables and flowers in his yard in Miami. He gave these away for others to enjoy. His regret as he grew older was that he could no longer hoe weeds. Our Granddad left us wonderful examples to follow. He was the best of Dad's and loved and cared for his family. He took care of his invalid wife for fifteen years. He will be so greatly missed and always remembered. SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Wilma Nelson of Amarillo, and Nell Williams & husband Boyd of Miami. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Oscar Sullivan and Ralph Sullivan; 1 sister, Anabel Knowing; 1 grandson, Paul Martin Nelson; and a beloved son-in-law, Sam Nelson. The family will be at 213 Mobeetie in Miami.MEMORIALS: World Mission Reachout for Needy Children, c/o Boyd Williams, P.O. Box 162, Miami, Texas 79059.
