SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Turnersville Community Cemetery in Turnersville, Texas with Pastor Charles Grossman, minister of the Eastwood Baptist Church in Gatesville, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. McClendon was born on March 15, 1917 in Turnersville, TX and had been a resident of Pampa since 1979. He was a Methodist, and he was a farmer. He attended the Central Baptist Church in Pampa.SURVIVORS: 3 Sisters: Syble Mayberry of San Antonio, Bertha M. Roam of Selma, California, and Rollene Ficklin of Plano; 3 Brothers: M. E. (Gene) McClendon of Pampa, Richard McClendon of Lompoc, California, and H. N. McClendon of Tyler. He was preceded in death by his mother, Addie C. McClendon in 1924, his father, Roland M.
