Arrangements are under the direction of Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, Illinois, and local arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BURIAL: Oblong Cemetery in Oblong, IllinoisBIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Finney was born April 10, 1913 in Oblong, Illinois. She married Warren D. Finney on October 3, 1937 in Oblong. He preceded her in death on February 4, 1985. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1954. She was a former member of the Seeds Chapel Methodist Church in Oblong, and was a current member of the Highland Baptist Church and the Esther Sunday School Class in Pampa.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Ronald Finney of Amarillo, and Alan Finney of Perryton. 1 Daughter: Phyllis Velasquez of Amarillo. 2 Sisters: Leta Albert of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mildred Armstrong of Greenwood, Indiana. 6 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mervin Bailey in 1994. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 6605 I-40 West, Suite A-6 Amarillo, Texas 79106.SPECIAL NOTICE: Mrs. Finney will lie in state at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home until 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2007.
