SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 1:15 PM Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Fred Palmer, pastor of the Carpenter's Church, officiating.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Stokes was born June 21, 1912 in Kaufman County, Texas. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1940, moving from Lone Oak, Texas. She married Clayton Stokes on May 5, 1940 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was a homemaker and a member of the Carpenter's Church.SURVIVORS: 5 sons: Larry Stokes and wife Yvonda, Harold Stokes and wife Donna, and Billy Keith Stokes and wife Cindy, all of Amarillo; Alton Ray Stokes and wife Bettye, and Johnny Glenn Stokes and wife Carolyn, all of Pampa; 1 sister: Maxine Stokes of Plainview; 2 brothers: William T.
