SERVICES: 10:30 AM Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Hayden Smith, her nephew and pastor of First Baptist Church of Carrizozo, New Mexico, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Dallas was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She was born on Aug. 30, 1939 in New Boston, Texas to Arthur Buford Adams and Mary Elba Newsom Adams. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1965. She married Kevo Earl Dallas on Dec. 28, 1957 in Olton, Texas. She was a secretary for The Electric Supply for 10 years, a bookkeeper for Earl's Engraving for 25 years, and a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing at Rainbow Lake, square dancing, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her father, three brothers, and one sister.SURVIVORS: Husband: Earl Dallas of the home; a daughter: Pamela Phelps and husband Paul of Pampa; 3 sons: Butch Dallas and wife Sheila and Alan Dallas and wife Tami, all of Pampa; and Charles Dallas and wife Sherry of Lynn Haven, FL; her mother: Mary Adams of Amarillo; 2 sisters: Burlene Applewhite and husband Bill and Emma Lee Nowell, all of Amarillo; 8 grandchildren: Christofer Johnson, Cory Dallas, Alisha Dallas, Adeena Dallas, and Arin Dallas, all of Pampa, Keva Dallas, Alex Dallas, and Lexi Dallas, all of Lynn Haven, FL; 4 stepgrandchildren: Robert Munson and wife Amy of Somersworth, New Hampshire, Barry Newton and wife Lyndsey of Henrietta, Jason Phelps, Jonathan Phelps and wife Starla, all of Pampa; 6 step great grandchildren: Isaac Munson and Whitney Munson, both of Somersworth, New Hampshire; Jake Phelps and Jon Paul Phelps, both of Amarillo; and Jacob Honeycutt and Hannah Phelps, both of Pampa; and several nieces and nephews.MEMORIALS: American Cancer Society, c/o Gerry Caylor, 2130 Charles, Pampa, TX 79065 or Alzheimer's Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.SPECIAL NOTICE: The family will gather and receive friends at 2120 N.
