SERVICES: 10:30 AM Friday, February 23, 2007, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Arvia Willingham, Church of Christ minister, and Zeb Sailors, Church of Christ minister, officiating.ENTOMBMENT: Memory Gardens Mausoleum under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Record was born September 6, 1933 in Amarillo. He was raised on the Coon Ranch in Dumas and attended Dumas schools. He married Glynna Youngblood on April 3, 1953 in Clayton, New Mexico. He came to Pampa in 1995 from Pringle. He worked at several area ranches, including the Matador Ranch at Channing, the Coon Ranch at Dumas, the Slaughter Ranch at Post, the Womble Farms at Pringle, the C.A. Cash Ranch at Hedley, and Marshall Cator Ranch at Four Way. He was a member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.SURVIVORS: Wife: Glynna Record of the home. 1 Daughter: Donna Shelton & husband Jimmy of Pampa. 1 Brother: Tommy Lew Record of Dumas. 2 Grandchildren: Michael Joseph Shelton & wife Jessica and Joey Raymond Shelton, all of Pampa.Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
