BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Heflin was born November 21, 1932 in Pampa, to Arthur & Bertha Heflin. In 1951 he joined the U. S. Navy, serving in Japan and Korea. In 1955, he was injured in a car accident, resulting in his disability. He was a member of the VFW, the Disabled American Veterans, and St. PaulUnited Methodist Church. He loved Pampa and lived there until 2000, when he moved to Olton to be near his sister. He was a Christian and loved to sing. He was a good brother and uncle. He will be missed.SURVIVORS: 1 Sister: Mary Faver of Olton. 1 Niece: Suzanne Carmichael & husband Richard of Arlington, Texas, and their children Derek, Calie and Morgan. 1 Nephew: Sam Uptergrove & wife Terra of Portland, Texas, and their children Haylee and Taylor.
