SERVICES: 2:00 PM Saturday, January 27, 2007, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Frankie Lemons, minister of Southside Church of Christ, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Williams was born May 22, 1930 in Athens, Texas. She married Walter L. Williams on February 19, 1951 in Kaufman. She worked at the Hughes Building for many years. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. She loved going to church and cooking large holiday meals. She was "everyone's grandmother."Survivors include her husband: Walter L. Williams, Sr., of the home. 2 Sons: Walter L. Williams, Jr., & wife Dorothy of Liberal, Kansas, and Henry L. Williams of Pampa. 2 Daughters: Idray Faye Jones and Angela Brunley, both of Pampa. 2 Sons-in-Law: Michael Brunley of Dallas and Robert Louis Jones of Austin. 13 Grandchildren, 40 Great-Grandchildren. 3 Brothers: Eunice Griggs, Jr., of Fort Worth, Robert Griggs and Lonnie Griggs, both of Lubbock. 3 Sisters: Joyce Lee of Atlanta, Georgia, Lillian Ware and Alberta Lilly, both of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter, 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 1 brother and 2 sisters.Memorials may be made to the Southside Church of Christ, 11923 W. McCullough Street, Pampa, Texas 79065.
