SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, January 11, 2007, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Lonny Robbins of the Trinity Fellowship Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2007, at the De Leon Cemetery in De Leon under the direction of Nowlin Funeral Home in De Leon. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Terrill was born June 19, 1920 in De Leon. He married Charlene Smith on January 18, 1938 in Eastland. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1961, moving from De Leon where he graduated from De Leon High School in 1938. He was a farmer and rancher in the Pampa area. He also managed the Harvest Queen Elevator in Kingsmill. He was a former member of the Pampa Roping Club and the VFW Post #1657. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving with the 44th Tank Battalion during World War II in the Philippines, Japan and New Guinea. SURVIVORS: Wife: Charlene Terrill of the home. 2 Daughters: Pat Hayes & husband Jim of Athens, and Joy Thompson & husband Joe of Pampa. 1 Sister: Nina Beth Durham of Longview. 4 Grandchildren: Melodee McGinnis of Arlington, Brad McGinnis & wife Michelle of Euless, Denise Childress & husband Curtis of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Scott Thompson & wife Becky of Chatsworth, California. 5 Great-Grandchildren: Colby Childress of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Jackson McGinnis of Euless, Gracie Thompson, Tessa Thompson, and Griffin Thompson, all of Chatsworth, California.
