SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, at Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ with Glen Walton, minister of Bell Avenue Church of Christ in Amarillo and Dean Whaley, minister of Dalhart Church of Christ, officiating.BURIAL: Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Jordan was born May 16, 1930 in Pampa where he had been a lifelong resident. He married Retha Little on August 25, 1949 in Lefors. He was hired as the first employee of Thurmond-McGlothlin, Inc. in 1952 where he later became a partner and president until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ and the Top O' Texas Masonic Lodge #1381. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. SURVIVORS: Wife: Retha Jordan of the home. 2 Daughters: Karen Burnette & husband Bruce of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Teresa Erdman & husband Mike of Amarillo. 4 Grandchildren: Jamie Harper of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Katie Guy of Atlanta, Georgia, Neal Burnette of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Ashley Hicks of Denver, Colorado. 2 Great-Grandchildren: Lauren Harper of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jackson Guy of Atlanta, Georgia. Numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal Cambridge Jordan & Katie Pauline Spillers Jordan.
