She married Bill Hopkins November 27, 1947 in Denton, Texas. She has lived in Pampa since 1949. She worked for the Pampa Independent School District as a history teacher for 35 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.SURVIVORS: Husband: Bill Hopkins of the home, 1 son: Steven Hopkins of Pampa. 1 sister: Betty Gray of Amarillo, Texas.
