Lynn Hancock, pastor, Chancey Williamson, and John Hazle, Jr., officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Pierce was born August 27, 1921 in Burkburnett. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1946. She married 1st Lt. John Henry Hazle on October 4, 1942 in Houston. He preceded her in death in 1943. She later married E. N. "Pete" Pierce on December 4, 1946 in Pampa. He preceded her in death in 1984. She worked at Alco as an office manager for 16 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for over 50 years, and was a member of the Faith Sunday School class. She was a member of the Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star for many years, serving as past matron twice. She was a volunteer at Pampa Regional Medical Center. She was a treasurer of the Pampa Army Air Field Reunion. SURVIVORS: 3 Daughters: Mary Jean Pierce of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, Carol Pierce of Pampa, and Lynn Dawson & husband Tim of Hereford. 2 Sisters: Ruth Sims of Pampa, and Dorothy Jones of San Antonio. 1 Daughter-in-Law: Johnnie Hazle of Fort Worth. 11 Grandchildren: John Hazle, Jr., & wife Ginger, Chris Hazle & wife Jennifer, Sherylyn Garth & husband Toad, Brian Snapp & wife Alisha, Chancey Williamson, Matthew Cox, Sabrina Dawson, Aaron Dawson, Shawn Holt, Dawn Holt and Damon Holt. 13 Great-Grandchildren.
