SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2006, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Richard Bartel, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Paronto was born September 12, 1925 in Pampa. He attended Pampa schools. He owned B & L Tank Trucks for 25 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. He was an avid fisherman. He loved to watch all sports, especially the Pampa Harvesters. His pride and joy were his grandchildren.SURVIVORS: Wife: Peggie Paronto of the home. 1 Daughter: Tanga Bailey & husband Tim of Burkburnett. 1 Son: Tyson Paronto & wife Stephanie of Pampa. 5 Grandchildren: Selina Freshnock and Stephen Freshnock, both of Chicago, Illinois, J. T. Hood of Edmond, Oklahoma, Lee Denise Bailey of Greensville, North Carolina, Ashlyn Paronto and Bryson Paronto, both of Pampa. 1 Niece: Carolyn Mays & husband Rod of Lamesa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred & Elsie Bell Paronto; 1 daughter, Linda Sue Paronto; 3 brothers, Freddy Paronto, Edgar Paronto and Johnny Willis; and 2 sisters, Bernice Hughes and Ethel Reese.
