SERVICES: 10:00 AM Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at the Priest Park Church of God with Rev. Fines Marchman, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Skellytown, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. West was born Feb. 23, 1915 in Cooper and attended Mobeetie schools. She married Alphus Allin West in 1936 in Mobeetie. He preceded her in death in 1981. She was a member of the Priest Park Church of God where she played the piano and taught Sunday school for many years. She was president of the Ladies Willing Workers in Pampa. She loved to cook and bake for others, and she was famous for her rolls and pies. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.SURVIVORS: Daughter: Marlene Kyle of Pampa; son: Aubrey West of Pampa; sister: Juanita Lightfoot of Amarillo; son-in-law: Rev. Fines Marchman of Pampa. 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Cliff Ruff, a daughter, Pat Marchman, a daughter-in-law, Linda West, a son-in-law, Earl Kyle, and by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.MEMORIALS: Priest Park Church of God, 1123 Gwendolyn, Pampa, TX 79065.
