SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Carl Novian, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Ragsdale was born Dec. 28, 1915 in Baxter, Tennessee, and she came to Pampa at the age of 10 from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. She was a 1935 graduate of Pampa High School. She married R. B. Ragsdale on Jan. 17, 1941 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 1976. She worked at City Drug, Cretney's, Wilson Drug, and Anthony's for many years, retiring in 1991. Mrs. Ragsdale was a member of First Baptist Church. She was an artist and was a member of the Pampa Art Club. She enjoyed traveling overseas and painting scenes of places she visited.SURVIVORS: Daughter: Beth Dutton and husband Guy of Cushing, OK; Son: Van Ragsdale and wife Jean of Garland; a sister-in-law: Pat Myatt of New Jersey; 4 grandchildren: Amy Gorman of Cushing, OK; Vicki Ragsdale of Salem, Massachusetts; Ty Dutton and wife Jessica of Coweta, OK; and Jim Ragsdale and wife Lauren of San Antonio; 3 great grandchildren: Alexis Marmion and Chloe Dutton, both of Coweta, OK; Avery Ragsdale of San Antonio, and a great granddaughter due next January, Paizley Clatt.MEMORIALS: Cook Children's Medical Center, 801 Seventh Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76104.
