Doug DuBose, retired Baptist minister, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Reeves was born October 9, 1924 in Wheeler County, Texas. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1947. He worked for Cabot and IRI, retiring in 1984 as a purchasing manager, after 37 years of service. He married Pat Williams on February 14, 1984 in Amarillo. She preceded him in death in 2004. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Everyman's Bible Class. He was a former member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Pampa Rotary Club, Boy Scouts and the Pampa Country Club. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Force, serving during World War II. He was a wonderful father.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Kent B. Reeves & wife Lora of Stephenville, and Cary R. Reeves & wife Anita of Aledo. 2 Brothers: Donald W. Reeves of Wheeler and Amos C. Reeves of Shamrock. 11 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Roy B. Reeves and J. C. Reeves. MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.
