SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Sylmar, CA under the direction of J. T. Oswald Mortuary of San Fernando, CA. Local arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Johnson was born Dec. 20, 1920 in Clarendon and had been a resident of Pampa since 1981. He married Ina Mae Ward on Oct. 30, 1941 in Wichita Falls. He was a farmer and rancher and a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II.SURVIVORS: Wife: Ina Mae Johnson of the home; 1 sister: Mary Ora Thompson of Pampa; 1 brother: Raymond Carl Johnson of Hobbs, NM; 6 nephews and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Newton Johnson and Minnie Ora Jeffcote Johnson; by a son, William Kenworth Johnson, on May 28, 2006; by 2 sisters, Verlie Mae Johnson and Etta Fay Isbell, and by a brother, Billy Joe Johnson.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, TX 79065.SPECIAL NOTICE: Visitation will be from 9:00-5:00 PM Monday at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home.
