SERVICES: 2:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2006, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Tommy Jo Bowers and Rev. Fines Marchman, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Skellytown, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Jones was born February 5, 1947 in Dumas. He had been a resident of Pampa for 18 years. He married Sue Williams on September 15, 1995 in Pampa. He was a truck driver in the oil field for a number of years, working for Triangle Well Service for the past 2 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War, serving in Germany.SURVIVORS: Wife: Sue Jones of the home. 2 Sons: Ronnie Jones and Richard Jones, both of Pampa. 2 Daughters: Patricia Jones of Pampa and Amanda Lawrence of Borger. 1 Stepson: Eddie Hasty of Pampa. 1 Brother: Andy Jones of Wichita Falls. 5 Sisters: Betty Sue Petty of Fairview, Shirley Jones, Peggy Turner and Ronda Elliott, all of Seymour, and Barbara Bingman of Dayton. 6 Grandchildren: Jennifer Jones and Seger Jones, both of the home, Ashley Jones, Jo Lynn Jones, Brook Jones and Nikki Smith, all of Pampa. He was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Malaska, and a grandson, Randall Jones.
