Jim Powell, pastor of Hobart Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, Texas, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Jordan was born August 13, 1914 in Rockwall County, Texas, and had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. She married Alvin Jordan on January 5, 1929 in Wellington. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hobart Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Linda Kay McPhillips & husband John of Conroe, and Myrtle Carey of Pampa. 1 Son: Charley A. Jordan of Pittsburg, Texas. 9 Grandchildren: Darrell Carey & wife Linda of Canyon, Sharon Carey of Huntsville, Karen Carter & husband Jerry of Amarillo, Betty Jo Sanders of Pampa, Jay McPhillips & wife Kim of Conroe, Bobbie Annette Jordan of Anahuac, Rita Taft, Tina Jordan and Paul Jordan, all of South Dakota. Numerous great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
