SERVICES: 11:00 AM Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes in Fort Worth with Rev. Clayton Howerton, her grandson, officiating.BURIAL: Laurel Land Memorial Park under the direction of Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth. Local arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Hill was born February 12, 1909 in Pensacola, Florida. After growing up in Rendon and Arlington, Texas, Ruth was a resident of Fort Worth for over 50 years. She moved to Pampa in 1987 where she was a member of First Baptist Church and was active in the Sonshiners senior choir for several years. Our beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt was a sweet, kind, high-spirited woman dedicated to home, family and church. She will be greatly missed. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harry H. Hill; two brothers, Sam and Carl Norman; two sisters, Mabel Norman Peterson and Ruby Norman Ball; and by her parents, Silas and Naomi Norman.SURVIVORS: Son: Richard H. Hill and wife Wanetta of Pampa; 2 daughters: Helen Marie Hill Conarty of Arlington and Paula Ruth Hill Barrios and husband Joe of Greenville, SC; 9 grandchildren: Kim Hoover of Washington, DC; Clay Howerton and wife Mary of Greenville, SC; Chris Conarty, and wife Gail and Kate Hill Juengerman and husband Jim, all of Arlington; Amy Beth Conarty McGill and husband Pat of Bixby, OK; Damian Hill of Phoenix, AZ; Megan Hill of Bridgeport, CT; Nathanael Hill of Kochi City, Japan, and Manuel Barrios of Scottsdale, AZ; 13 great grandchildren: Kyle McGill, Lyndsay McGill, and Jake McGill, all of Bixby, OK; Stephanie and Lauren Hoover of Washington, DC; Carson Conarty, Leda Juengerman, Grace Juengerman, and Quintin Juengerman, all of Arlington; Hannah Howerton, Hailey Howerton, Hope Howerton, Mary Heather Howerton, and Harrison Howerton, all of Greenville, SC; 2 nieces: Betty Boone of Conroe and Barbara Rudd of Houston; and 3 nephews: Calvin Hartley, Gaither Hartley, and Royce Hartley, all of Arlington.MEMORIALS: First Baptist Church Sonshiners Senior Choir, P.
