SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Taylor was born Dec. 17, 1918 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and came to Pampa in the 1920's from Tulsa. She was a 1935 graduate of Pampa High School and attended Mary Hardin Baylor College in Belton. She married Roy Taylor on Nov. 23, 1946 in Canadian. Mrs. Taylor was a member of First Baptist Church where she was director of the intercessory prayer ministry for 20 years. She also taught second grade Sunday school for over 20 years.SURVIVORS: Husband: Roy Taylor of the home; 4 sons: David Taylor and wife Brenda of Waco; Dick Taylor and wife Vicki of Albuquerque, NM; Mark Taylor and wife Gylene of Pampa; and Jody Taylor and wife Carol of Lubbock; 1 brother: Bob Ward of Canadian; 1 sister: Polly Parnell and husband Ben of Bartlett, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
