Norman Rushing, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Cockrell was born May 15, 1921 in Vernon. She married Floyd Cockrell on September 10, 1940 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1985. She was a longtime resident of Pampa and a member of Central Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Sue Snider & husband Charlie of Amarillo, and Becky Currie & husband Neil of Canyon. 1 Son: Gary Cockrell & wife Betty of Glen Rose. 2 Sisters: Neva Bailey of McLean and Meryle Boose of California. 6 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
