SERVICES: 10:00 AM Saturday, September 9, 2006, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church, and Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Attaway was born January 25, 1916 in Wewoka, Oklahoma, to J. W. & Rossie Hulsey. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1930. She married Truman Attaway on October 10, 1934 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1997. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was a member of the Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star for over 40 years. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed working in her yard and garden, and visiting with her friends. She loved the Lord.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Leona Willis & husband Bill of Pampa, and Murline Stephens & husband Loyd of Escondido, California. 5 Grandchildren: Melissa Hogan of Lubbock, Lynn Willis of Pampa, Sean Stephens of San Diego, California, Brad Stephens of Hampton Cove, Alabama, and Derek Stephens of Mustang, Oklahoma. 10 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.
