He resided in Pampa from 1950 until 1976, when he moved to Clarendon. He married Virginia Lucille Morrow on March 19, 1940 in Panhandle. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad, and later he was a welder for Arthur Brothers Construction Co. at the Pampa Celanese Plant. He was a Baptist.SURVIVORS: Wife: Virginia Lucille Chandler of the home; 2 daughters: Kathy Honeycutt and husband Wendill of Pampa and Kayron Matthews and husband Wally of College Station; 4 grandchildren: Belinda Brown and husband Terry, Starla Phelps and husband John, all of Pampa; Jess Theodore Matthews and wife Kathy and Keith Russell Matthews, all of Bryan; and 9 great grandchildren.
