Michael Erickson, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Stroebel was born June 1, 1916 in Romney, Texas, to Bryce & Willie Chandler Webb. She became a child of God through baptism on August 20, 1930. She was confirmed in the Christian faith on April 4, 1937 at Grace Lutheran Church in Cisco. She married A. M. "Doc" Stroebel on November 28, 1936 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cisco. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1987. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1959, moving from Cisco. She worked as a respiratory therapist at Worley Hospital, Highland General Hospital and Coronado Hospital for 14 years, retiring in 1985. She was a faithful member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Pampa.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Kathy Hammer & husband Bill of Pampa, and Nancy Hammer & husband Gerald of Bowie. 2 Sisters: Katherine Dean of Lubbock and Betty Adams of Cisco. 2 Grandsons: Todd Hammer & wife Debbie of Chico and Hoyt Hammer & wife Laura of Dallas. 2 Granddaughters: Malley Underwood & husband Kevin of Sanger, and Amy Hammer of Pampa. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Thomas Hammer of Chico, Katie Underwood and Bryce Underwood, both of Sanger, and William Alvin Hammer of Dallas. Special Friend: Helen Hightower of Bowie. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Stanley Webb and Elwood Webb.MEMORIALS: Zion Lutheran Church, 1200 Duncan, Pampa, Texas 79065.
