SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, August 18, 2006, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Pastor Kile Bateman, nephew and pastor of the Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Wichita Falls, and Dr. Miles Bateman, nephew from Trenton, Illinois, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Walker was born July 1, 1918 in Hill County, Texas. She married Joe Bailey Walker on August 7, 1937 in Hillsboro. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1982. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1968. She worked for Gibson's Discount Center as a cashier for many years. She was a Baptist.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Judy Hoover of Pampa. 1 Son: Gary Walker & wife LaGwenda of Pampa. 2 Granddaughters: Brandi Brewer and Cari Carrillo & husband Jerry, all of Pampa. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Calli Jo, Corbin Lee, Raeli Blayne and Emori Ruth, all of Pampa. Numerous nieces & nephews, including special niece, Betty White & husband Otis of Pampa, and nephew Bob Pritchett of Pampa. 2 Step-Granddaughters: Debbie Hoover and Vickie Daley, both of Pampa. 2 Step-Great-Grandchildren: Marcus and Carrie both of Pampa. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and her son-in-law, Lee Hoover.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, Texas 79065, or a favorite charity.
