SERVICES: 10:00 AM Saturday, August 5, 2006, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Leland Lewis, pastor of the First Assembly of God, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM Saturday, at the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland, with Rev. Robert Burns, pastor of the First Assembly of God in Levelland, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Parks was born January 25, 1921 in Panhandle. She moved to Montague County in 1933 and then to Pampa in 1938. She married James A. "Jim" Parks on June 27, 1948 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2004. She had been a resident of Levelland from 1957 until her return to Pampa in May of 2004. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Levelland. She was a member and founder of the South Plains Ladies Petroleum Club.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: James Keith Parks & wife Kathy of Odessa, and Rickey Parks & wife Stacy of Boyd. 1 Brother: J. L. "PeeWee" Romines & wife Vivian of Pampa. 3 Grandsons: Jeremy Parks of Hale AFB, Utah, Robert Parks of Spokane, Washington, and Jerod Parks of Odessa. 2 Granddaughters: Lexie Parks of Hobbs, New Mexico and Rikki Lenea Parks of Boyd. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter Retha Lockridge, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, Texas 79065
