Coy Wylie, pastor of the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Amarillo, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Ely was born June 14, 1912 in Caddo, Oklahoma. She married Reggie DeHay on October 12, 1955 in Hobbs, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1984. She later married Mike Ely on February 20, 1988 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2000. She had been a resident of Pampa from 1971 until moving to Amarillo in September of 2003. She was a former member of the Hobart Baptist Church of Pampa and was a current member of the Arden Road Baptist Church of Amarillo. She taught Sunday School classes for 40 years, both in Pampa and Hobbs, New Mexico.SURVIVORS: 1 Brother-in-Law: Don DeHay & family of Amarillo. 1 Stepdaughter: Norma Hensley & family of Pampa. 1 Stepson: Charles Ely & family of Pampa. Many nieces, nephews and friends.
