SERVICES: 2:00 PM Monday, June 26, 2006, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Richard Bartel, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Rogers was born August 16, 1946 in Hereford. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1968. She married Benton Rogers, Jr., on December 17, 1968. She worked at Montgomery Ward and Texas Furniture, and for the past 19 years at WalMart in the bookkeeping department. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was an inspiration to her family and others. She was always willing to help those in need, putting others before herself; she was a good soldier. She was affectionately known as "Miss Johnnie," or "Johnnie Mae" by her family and friends. SURVIVORS: Husband: Benton Rogers, Jr., of the home. 2 Daughters: Benita Christian & husband Matthew of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Debbie Flores & husband Leslie of Pampa. Mother: Melba Presley of Lefors. 1 Sister: Lajuan Fowler & husband Roy of Hereford. 2 Brothers: Harold Wayne Presley of Lefors and Kenneth Presley of Lubbock. 3 Grandchildren: Tyler Kimbley, Brenden Kimbley and Olivia Flores, and a host of nieces and nephews.
