SERVICES: 2:00 PM Monday, June 19, 2006, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Barry A. Loving, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Cremation will follow.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Didway was born April 15, 1942 in Muleshoe, Texas and was raised in Post, Texas. He graduated from Post High School and received his bachelor's degree from West Texas State University. He married Glenda Converse on Jan. 22, 1965 in Pampa. He coached football and taught history in Pampa, McLean, and Muleshoe. He retired from Celanese Chemical Co. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer.SURVIVORS: Wife: Glenda Didway of the home; 1 son: Chris Didway and wife Tammy of Pampa; 1 brother: Walter Didway of Post; 1 sister: Charlene Feris of Dallas; and 3 granddaughters: Rilee, Remi, and Lexi Didway, all of Pampa.
