Marjorie Lou Reynolds

SERVICES: A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Todd Dyess, Amarillo district superintendent of the United Methodist Church, and John Curry, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Reynolds was born on Feb. 15, 1918 in Pampa. She lived briefly in White Deer and Amarillo before returning to Pampa in 1934. She married Albert "Tennie" Reynolds on Aug. 8, 1937 in Sayre, Oklahoma. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church and was a charter member of both the Junior Service League of Pampa and the Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bridge and taking care of her family and served as a Cub Scout den mother. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000, a granddaughter Amanda Jacobs in 1999, her sister Lorene Stein, and by a daughter-in-law, Virginia Reynolds, in 2005.SURVIVORS: 1 son: John Reynolds of Amarillo; 1 daughter: Jane Jacobs and husband Robert of Pampa; 1 granddaughter: Teena Cox and husband Raymond of Pampa; 2 great grandchildren: Kayla Cox and Weston Cox, both of Pampa; and several nieces and nephews.
