She had been a resident of Pampa since 1936. She married Morrison Prescott on March 31, 1931, and they were married for 19 years. She later married Noel Southern on March 19, 1966. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1998. She owned and operated the Bobbett Hair Salon, retiring in 1976, after 22 years of service. She was a member of the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid china painter and quilt maker.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Mary Lou Winegeart of Pampa. 1 Stepdaughter: Peggy Greb of Lawton, Oklahoma. 3 Sisters: Gladys McCutchen and Faye Cooper, both of Amarillo, and Ruby Williams. 1 Brother: Morris Belote of Longview. 3 Grandchildren: Sabrina East and David Winegeart, both of Pampa, and John Winegeart of Lubbock; 8 Great-Grandchildren, Jason Winegeart of Amarillo, Kylie Winegeart, Kaitlin Winegeart, Kassidy Winegeart, Jon East, Brittin East, and McKinsie East, all of Pampa, and Jamie Leigh Winegeart of Lubbock, and 1 Great-Great-Grand-daughter, Baily Winegeart of Amarillo. 2 Step-Grandchildren: Dana Cooper of Dallas and Tom Trimpa of Lawton, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Vernon Belote, Ernest Belote and L. D. Belote, and 3 sisters, Melba Bruce, Martha Spires and Helen Been.
