Alan Wilson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of White Deer, officiating.BURIAL: White Deer Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Travis was born May 25, 1916 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She married Floyd John Travis, Sr., in December of 1954 in Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1956. She had been a resident of White Deer since 1940. She was a member of the White Deer Chapter and the Panhandle Chapter #760 Order of the Eastern Star for 41 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of White Deer for 56 years where she worked as a nursery attendant for many years.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Theresa Gann of Houston and Vivian Ballard of White Deer. 1 Son: Bill Housley of Bellville. 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Orr on May 23, 2002.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.
