SERVICES: 10:00 AM Thursday, May 25, 2006, at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Langford was born August 22, 1916 in Van Zandt County, Texas. She met W. F. "Bill" Langford while playing basketball, and they married on December 23, 1934 in Grand Saline. He preceded her in death in 1984. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1943, and she worked for the First Baptist Church in the nursery for 48 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Senior Adult I Sunday School Class.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Rose Tuggle and Gloria Stephens & husband Roy Don, all of Pampa. 1 Sister: Bonnie Kendrick of Granite Bay, California. 5 Grandchildren: Lisa Hornell and Scott Tuggle, both of Amarillo, Lori Barker, Leslee Jewett, and Craig Stephens, all of Pampa. 7 Great-Grandchildren.
