SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at First Baptist Church in Pampa with Rev. Lonny Robbins, pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church in Pampa, officiating. Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Tripplehorn was born on June 21, 1919 in Chillicothe and moved to Pampa as a young child with her parents. She graduated from Pampa High School and attended Baylor University and Texas Tech. She married Robert L. Tripplehorn on June 27, 1940 in Pampa, and he preceded her in death in 1993 after 53 years of marriage. Mrs. Tripplehorn was a member of the First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for 17 years and as floral chairwoman for 24 years. She was a former member of the Women's Missionary Union of First Baptist and served as secretary to the Adult I Sunday School Department for over 20 years. She was a member of the Pampa Country Club, several bridge clubs, and was a charter member of the Hospital Auxiliary. In earlier years, she was active in PTA, and at one time, she served as sponsor to the Sub-Deb Club, a girls' social organization.Mr. and Mrs. Tripplehorn contributed for many years to numerous organizations including colleges and other charitable projects who were recipients of their dedicated support. No one ever dies as long as they are remembered.SURVIVORS: Daughter: Carol Shannon and husband Dan of Santa Fe, NM; son: David R.
