During high school, he was involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, football, and FFA. He worked for Larry Elledge as a welder's helper for 4 years before becoming a rancher with his family. He was a member of the Body of Christ.SURVIVORS: Parents: Guy and Sharon Thompson of Mobeetie; 1 sister: Susan Furgason and husband Johnny of Pampa; 2 nieces: Mikala Furgason and Kolbi Furgason, both of Pampa; and 1 nephew: Nathan Furgason of Pampa.MEMORIALS: Body of Christ Building Fund, 210 N.
