Troy Edward Rains

SERVICES: Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Recreation Park in Pampa. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Rains was born November 25, 1939 in Leslie, Arkansas. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1942. He married Fern Morris on April 13, 1968. He worked for the City of Pampa Water Department as a field superintendent for 20 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: Wife: Fern Rains of the home. 3 Daughters: Rhonda Mahoney and LaDonna Fisher, both of Enid, Oklahoma, and Sandra K. Ford of Pampa. 3 Sisters: Maudie Aldridge and Gerald Dean Reagan, both of Pampa, and Dorthy Welch of Barnsdall, Oklahoma. 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Randolph Rains in 1959, a son, Buddy Ray Hartley in 1972, and his mother, Celia Rains in 1986.
