SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, May 8, 2006, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jeff Taylor, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. McAnelly was born on Jan. 22, 1925 in Hamilton, Texas and was a 1942 graduate of Hamilton High School. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and graduated from Texas A & M University in 1947 with a degree in agricultural education. He married Anne Bowyer on Aug. 26, 1950 in Anson. She preceded him in death on May 7, 2005. Mr. McAnelly worked in Saudi Arabia for five years and came to Pampa in 1957 from the Rio Grande Valley. He managed Moody Farms which was the first commercial cattle feedlot in the Texas Panhandle. He also farmed and ranched in Gray and Wheeler Counties for many years. He was a former board member of the Texas Cattle Feeders Association and a former longtime member of the Top O' Texas Rodeo Board. He was a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers' Associations, Pampa Rotary Club, Pampa Masonic Lodge #966, Khiva Shrine Temple of Amarillo, First United Methodist Church, and the Texas A & M Century Club.SURVIVORS: Daughter: Laura Easter of Amarillo; brother: J. W.
