He came to Pampa in 1986 from Red Wing, Colorado. He married Doris McElrath on June 12, 1991 in Pampa. He worked throughout Oklahoma, Wyoming and the Rocky Mountains area as a drilling fluids engineer for many years, retiring in 2003. He served in the U. S. Army Reserve.SURVIVORS: Wife Doris McMillion of the home. 3 Daughters: Peggy McMillion of Livingston, Montana, Patty Olsen of Bozeman, Montana, and Rhonda Todd of Senoia, Georgia. 2 Stepsons: Todd McElrath of Manchester, New Hampshire, and James McElrath of Amarillo. 1 Brother: Carl McMillion of Seminole, Oklahoma. 3 Sisters: Delphia Grider of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Kaye Osborne of Perryton, and Juanita Henderson of Guymon, Oklahoma. 6 Grandchildren.
