SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, April 21, 2006, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Brother Gregg Kinch, pastor of the Southlawn Baptist Church of Amarillo, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Attaway was born March 25, 1914 in Bluff City, Kansas, to Harrison Clinton Parker and Pearl Parker. She married Arthur (Art) Crow in 1930, and he preceded her in death in 1958. She later married Lester Attaway in 1960 in Amarillo, and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2001. She was a secretary for the Pampa Independent School District for 26 years. She was a member of the Barrett Baptist Church. SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Bud Crow & wife Barbie of Pampa. 1 Daughter: D'Rene Beets of Amarillo. 1 Step-Son: Lloyd Attaway & wife Kathy of Iowe, California. 1 Step-Daughter: Betty Caviness & husband Stan of Yucaipa, California. 1 Brother: John Leroy Parker of Jacksonville, Illinois. 12 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Several nieces & nephews. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Texa 79106, or the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc., 1501 NW 9th Ave., Bob Hope Road, Miami, Florida 33136-1494.
