Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Shelton was born March 2, 1943 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He had been a resident of Amarillo since 1945, graduating from Tascosa High School. He enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps in 1960 and was discharged in 1966. He was a proud Marine from the "old corps," once a Marine, always a Marine.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Damon Shelton & wife Tina of Hollywood, California. 1 Sister: Gail Campbell & husband Steve of Amarillo. 2 Brothers: Clarence Shelton & wife Judy of Seattle, Washington, and Kenneth Shelton & wife Kay of Amarillo. 3 Nieces: Jennifer Shelton, Stephanie Shelton and Melissa Shelton, all of Amarillo. 2 Nephews: Clint Shelton & wife Nikki of Pampa, and Zachary Shelton of Amarillo.
