Leland Lewis, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Harrington was born November 28, 1918 in Stroud, Oklahoma. He married Artie Switzer on December 21, 1942 in Drumright, Oklahoma. They moved from Oklahoma to the Bowers City and Pampa areas in 1946. He retired from Phillips Petroleum in January of 1984 as a field mechanic. He was a member of the First Assembly of God. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps, serving during World War II.SURVIVORS: Wife: Artie Harrington of the home. 1 Son: Jerry Harrington of Pampa. 2 Daughters: Sharon Moss & husband John of Borger, and Janice Steele of Houston. 2 Brothers: Harold Harrington of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Melvin Harrington of Shamrock, Oklahoma. 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Letha Harrington; 3 sisters, Lois Lookingbill, Marie Strickland and Mary Harrington; and 1 brother, Gene Harrington.
