SERVICES: 10:00 AM Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Phillip Elsheimer, pastor of Calvary Assembly of God, officiating. Local arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BURIAL: Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, April 14, 2006, at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home, with graveside services at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 15, 2006, at the Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home of Paris, Texas.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Garmon was born February 26, 1925 in Lamar County, Texas, and was reared in Red Oak, Texas. She married Troy David Garmon on September 27, 1940 in Grant, Oklahoma. They were married for 52 years before he preceded her in death in 1992. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1958. She was a former member of the Four Square Gospel Church and was a current member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. She worked for K-Mart for seven years. She loved to cook and was known for her family pies. She was an avid "Grande Ole Opry" fan. She loved spending time with her family and recalling memories of her youth and she believed that friends made were friends for life. She was an avid collector of "nick-nacks."SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Pam Lorensen and Kimberly Gay Johnson, both of Pampa. 5 Sons: Troy W. Garmon & wife Martha of Wellston, Oklahoma, Larry Garmon & wife Connie of Amarillo, Jerry Garmon and David Garmon & wife Sherry, all of Pampa, and Tim Garmon & wife Julie of Nash. 1 Sister: Onita Floyd of Pampa. 1 Sister-in-Law: Irene Black of Pampa. 20 Grandchildren, 27 Great-Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Monty Garmon in 1958 and Marcus Garmon in 1966, 4 brothers, Marcus J. C. Chennault, Desso Lee Chennault, Erbie George Chennault, and William Henry Chennault, and 2 sisters, Mary Frances Hood and Avis Tula Fields. MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N.
