SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, April 10, 2006, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Pillers was born on April 27, 1922 in Dalhart to Edmund and Adgie Wilson. She attended schools in Wellington and graduated from Shamrock High School in Shamrock. She married Claude Pillers on June 9, 1940 in Sayre, Oklahoma and lived in Twitty, Texas for several years where her husband farmed. They moved to Lubbock in 1956, and during her lifetime, she lived in El Paso, Biloxi, Mississippi, and Pensacola, Florida before returning to Lubbock with her husband in 1989. She was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church in Lubbock. She loved her home and her family and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and reading. Mrs. Pillers was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 21, 1999, her parents, two brothers, and a sister.SURVIVORS: Son: Gary Pillers and wife Paulette of Lubbock; daughter: Sherry Carlson and husband Jerry of Pampa; sister: Claudia Smith of Dallas; brother: Kenneth Wilson of Oklahoma City; 3 grandsons: Brent Pillers and wife Pam of Lubbock, Colby Pillers of Hilo, Hawaii, and Chris Carlson of Pampa; and by 2 great granddaughters, Clare and Audrey Pillers, both of Lubbock.MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Word at Work, 1400 Wolflin, Amarillo, TX 79109 or Gray County Association for Retarded Citizens, P.
