SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Arvia Willingham and Rodney Tedford, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Griffin was born February 17, 1922 in Wheeler. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. He married Pat Walker on July 15, 1948 in Pampa. He was retired from Celanese and was a member of the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in the Philippines during World War II. He was an avid wood worker.SURVIVORS: Wife: Pat Griffin of Pampa. 1 Daughter: Rebecca Vaughn & husband Mike of Pampa. 1 Sister: Sarah Loiselle of Utah. 2 Grandchildren: Tracie Vaughn and Kimberly Vaughn, both of Pampa. 1 Great-Grandson: Grayson Michael Vaughn of Pampa. 3 Sisters-in-Law: Betty Bradford & husband Brad of Pampa, Jo Walker of Amarillo and Llwlyn Walker of Lubbock. 1 Brother-in-Law: Charles Everett of Amarillo.Many nieces & nephews.MEMORIALS: Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ, 1342 Mary Ellen, Pampa, Texas 79065.SPECIAL NOTICE: The family will be at 413 Quail Lane at Walnut Creek, and will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 PM on Wednesday at the residence.
